We are just a few more days away from rehearsal. I've now been in touch, over email, with most of my siblings and several other cast members as well -- mostly females, for some reason. Are we more social beings? What a stereotype. Anyway, it sounds like this is going to be a very fun group of people, and they had better be, since we are spending most of 2008 together!
I saw Gypsy on Broadway last night, the first preview with Patti Lupone. It was quite fantastic, but I'm biased since I adore Patti and adore Gypsy. I'm going again on Friday! I never see Broadway shows, even though I live right here, and now that one of my favorite performers is doing the lead in one of my favorite shows, I think it makes sense to go twice. Also, I just got my tax refund, so I can afford it and then some! Yay!
I've been packing up my room to prepare for my subletter who moves in a week from Saturday. It's hard! In my old apartment, I knew exactly how to pack my things. In this room, although I have a lot more space, I'm not sure how to pack everything up, and there are many things I have to leave out until the last minute, so there's only so much I can do right now. I'd like to get it mostly done by the weekend, so that next week, our rehearsal week, I'm not stressed about packing but can just enjoy rehearsals and be prepared for the trip.
Sunday is my final NY costume fitting, which might be less extensive than I had thought, since I already had a fitting. Then Monday we start our rehearsals, all day every day (although I guess Liesl and I will have some time off while the actual kids are in school).
If anyone has questions about anything, particularly once the tour starts, feel free to post a comment and I'll try to answer in my next post.

OO our blogs are kind of twins, and we do look like we could be related!! I put the link to your blog up on mine, hope you don't mind. I'm surprised I still haven't heard anything from the costumers yet....eeks I'm getting a little nervous! Hope your apartment packing is going well I finally got everything into my suitcase I wanted to bring....and then realized it was 30 pounds OVERWEIGHT!!! Sooo I've been spending today trying to shift all the weight around between my bags! I think I might blog about it, haha! Anyway can't wait to get started this week, see you soo soon!

PS, I absolutely read about those eggs. I kind of envision them as being similar to a soft-boiled one, but tasting slightly different. I'm probably totally wrong. I also will not be eating those.
I'm not sure how to feel about your comment about my labels being funnier. Is that a good thing? Or does that mean that my writing is boring and trite, and that my labels are the only thing that make it worth reading? I will have to contemplate that for a while.
